De Cecco Linguine No 7. 500gm

Linguine are the quintessential Ligurian long pasta shape: shaped like a small, flat, narrow tagliatelle, they were created to accompany traditional pesto.

Thanks to their flattened section and slightly convex shape, they are perfect for capturing condiments and restoring all their variety of flavours.

They are excellent simply with butter and sage or combined with sauces based on fresh tomatoes, with vegetables and aromatic herbs or quick spicy sauces, prepared with extra virgin olive oil, garlic, chilli pepper, anchovies and capers.

They are also ideal for fish-based sauces with shellfish and seafood and with "white" sauces prepared with cream, mascarpone, soft and melted cheeses and with the addition of spices such as saffron, horseradish, curry and ginger.
